2017 Business Excellence Awards Gala 

Join us in celebrating Drumheller's outstanding businesses, groups and individuals at the 2017 Business Excellence Awards Gala! Proudly presented by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce.

The gala takes place on Wednesday, October 18 at the Badlands Community Facility, as part of our Small Business Week celebration. The evening will begin with a networking cocktail hour at 5:00pm. The awards ceremony will start at 6:00 pm. 

Tickets are just $35 each and include a delicious buffet dinner and complimentary wine, courtesy of Community Futures Big Country. A cash bar will also be available.  

ALL members of the community are welcome to attend; you do not have to be a Chamber members or an award finalist. 

The deadline to register is Friday, October 13. We hope to see you there!

We have AMAZING volunteers of all ages!! Look at sweet, sweet little Felix giving the cats & kittens some love & affection!! Such a kind, gentle little man & as you can see the cats & kittens adored him!! Thank you to Felix Klamski for dropping in and thank you to all of our other wonderful volunteers who help us help the animals in so many ways!! THANK YOU!!

Volunteers – must be 12 years or older. If younger than 12, must be accompanied by an adult.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Adoption Centre volunteers needed; training will be provided. Duties include – overall upkeep and maintenance of the Adoption Centre. May include administrative work, public relations and customer service, animal care and handling, cleaning kennels, dog walking.
Volunteers needed for various other fundraising activities such as Annual Luncheons and Silent Auction, BBQs, Servers for Catering and Casinos. These events get our name out there and help raise funds to cover vet costs, caring for our animals and infrastructure overhead.

Also, Volunteers needed to provide foster care for animals in need. We will provide vet care, food etc. while an animal in need resides with you and/or until they find their forever home.
